Bob Hoskins has passed away today at the age of 71, due to pneumonia and complications from Parkinson's Disease.

He shall be missed and I shall always remember him for, among his numerous good performances, his work on Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.

The only other place that I remember seeing him aside from Rabbit is in Brazil. I saw him in Rabbit first, and I remember thinking that in Brazil he had managed to acquire a pretty good British accent.

Hook. So good in Hook. (Although Roger Rabbit is truly one of my favorite movies.)

He was one of those "Hey it's that guy! From that Thing!" actors. I always notice him in most of his roles. But I can not name 5 of his films.

WFRR really put him on my radar, and I was always happy to see him pop up in something. Sad.

I find it funny that they considered him unattractive. I thought he was one of the sexiest men in Hollywood. Then again, my tastes always did skew with the general public.

If nothing else, he looked incredibly sweet and lovable. I wouldn't call him ugly.
