Break my beta

I've put up a new beta version of my website. This is where I've been the past couple of weeks (aside from desperately working to get a student finished). I want to soon move to a larger format. Why? There's a lot of precedent in the webcomic world for larger images, and I could certainly use the detail. For instance in Issue 5 on page 10, you cannot even see the black rain striking the back of the beast in the first panel of the next to last row, more or less removing the significance of the panel.

Also, I wanted something that was more modern and web 2.0 ish. I didn't roll the new site all by myself. Instead, I used the AJAX-based javascript package "jquery" to perform on the fly webpage changes. The new viewer started out as Galleriffic (a jquery plugin), though I made some changes to the source code.

From a user standpoint, the site looks almost identical. There are a few visual improvements, like a loading throbber to let the user know when an image is loading, and crossfading pages. Just for fun (and maybe some backstory), I created a twitter account for the protagonist. As in from his point of view. I absorbed the tweets into the webpage (with another jquery plugin called tweet. Again hacked for my pleasure.) Finally, browser history works now, and keyboard shortcuts can be used to navigate the pages of the comic.

So, please. Feel free to break the site. Tell me how it loads your CPU, since a lot of the processing has been moved to the client side now. The site is at http://www.fadecomic.com/beta

The Beta works well for me. Haven't found any issues, and it loads quickly.
