I enjoyed the season premiere. Anyone else keeping up with this show?

Was that tonight? I love that show, I can't believ I missed it for some homework!
Crap that's one of the few shows I bother trying to keep up with. I guess I'll just catch it online on ABC's website when it goes up. I would not even have seen the first half of last season had it been for the episodes online.

It was monday night (after Heroes) - I watched it tonight on Hulu. Go now!
It was funny.

I liked it but thought
they took that Russian guy out awfully easy.

Noes! Watch now or wait until after work??
Is that really a question, though? Man, am I going to regret it.

"Aagh, they remake Fame, and A Christmas Carol ... has Hollywood totally run out of ideas?"
"Well they just optioned Asteroids, the video game, so my guess is 'yes.' But Ryan Reynolds is playing the little triangle, and he's good."

Believe me, I would if I could. My Internet connection is really crappy right now so I'm waiting for that situation to be resolved. Right now I'm posting on my iPod while piggy-backing on the neighbors wireless signal. Can Hulu play on an iPod touch?
Edit:
No, apparently hulu will not play on an iPod touch.

I enjoyed it. And mid-episode my thought process went something like "Yes, I acknowledge that Stana Katic is a beautiful woman but she doesn't qui-holy crap Russian accent hot!"
Daughter: Dad, there are no cows in space. Besides, didn't you wear that like 5 years ago?
God damn I love this show!

TO MANY THINGS ON MONDAY NIGHT!
How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Castle, and Monday Night Football. Thank god I have friends within walking distance or else I would have to miss something.
Also I've only seen the first episode of the first season of Castle so far. It's good, but it will probably be a DVD show for me.

Castle was SO much better than the football game this week. That Redskins/Eagles game was only allowed on TV because of Roe v Wade.
who in their right minds thought that having the Redskins play in a MNF game was a good idea? Only way that matchup could have been worse is if it was Redskins/Panthers.
I love this show so much. It's one of the few things I watch regularly. Last night's episode was chock full of goodness.

Me too, it's so dumb and ridiculous but so charming.

I can't remember the last time I was this excited to watch nightly TV. With HIMYM, Big Bang, Castle, Glee and Community I'm a happy boy. Plus the wife and I enjoy all these shows together which is rare.

My SON likes Castle! And he hates EVERYTHING that is not a Cartoon Network cartoon or a video of a guy getting hit in the nuts.
I have to admit, I squealed when I saw this happen.
It was awesome.

So, a friend of mine and I went halvsies on Halo 3: ODST. I realized that Nathan Fillion voiced a character, but I didn't realize it was a major character. And I also didn't realize that he provided the model for it too.
Needless to say, for the ODST gametype, I use Nathan's model, take off the helmet, and my service tag is "WRTR."

Has anyone read the Heat Wave (Nikki Heat) book that came out a moths ago? I've got it but haven't had a chance to sit down with it.

REALLY?!? Amazing!

I'm necro-ing this thread to say the following things:
I bought my wife the Heat Wave book and she loves it! It's better if you watch the show, though. I haven't read it yet but she says if you know the show it's fun.
HOLY FUCK IS KATE DEAD?!? I can't see how she survived the explosion as she had nowhere to hide. And now we know the serial killer wasn't interested in Kate at all but instead was targeting the FBI agent. If Kate is dead will the show be over or will Castle be following the FBI chick around?
The show Monday night was a HUGE departure from the normal formula the show usually uses. I'm not sure whether I'm excited for next week or afraid of what I'm going to see.

Shit, I bought Heat Wave for a Castle costume this past Halloween and I still haven't read it. I should get on that.

@Dave
No way is she dead. I will bet you a billion dollars they won't kill off the 2nd main character.
how could she have survived that? She was naked and right next to the bomb that blew the fuck out of the place. She couldn't make it to the tub, if she went behind the couch she'd have 2nd & 3rd degree burns all over her body, etc. If she's not hurt at all it's a HUGE stretch. Unless she was staying somewhere else and even though her apartment blew up it wouldn't affect her. Still, she HEARD the "Good-bye, Nikki." so it had to be by her.

From the Castle site:
Episode Synopsis: Conclusion. Castle and Beckett work with the FBI to find a clever serial killer.

I'm not disagreeing with you man, whatever excuse they use will be silly but then again... it's TV.

How close was Kate to her refrigerator?
I fucking love this show so goddamn much. When I finally saw Monday's episode last night, I was thiiiis close to coming here and posting a great bit "WTF?!" but I didn't, for some reason or another.
No way can Kate be dead, though. Like ... it just can't happen. So much unresolved sexual tension! And that would be a fucking dark move for a show this ... I won't call it 'light,' or 'feel-good' but it sure as hell isn't dark.
It's going to be an eye opener for both Kate and Castle, I think. Castle will blame himself, and I hope to god it ends in them sleeping together.
Also ... Dave, where did you get that the serial killer was targeting FBI woman? I didn't catch that at all.

I got that from the "NEXT WEEK ON CASTLE" part where
the serial killer says, "Nice to see you, Agent Shaw." He had an air of familiarity.
There are several theories going around like:
The federal agent is in league with the killer and the phone call she made wasn't to her kid but a tipoff to the fake killer. She said she failed writing a book and this could be her trying to get into one.
or
Since the guy whose finger got cut off had it done on the right hand and not his dominant hand it still could be his. Did they follow up on his alibi? Or did he have someone covering for him?

Oh, and Castle won in its time slot for the first time!!

Oh, shit. I didn't watch the 'Tune in Next Week!' part.
I don't think they would kill of Kate like that. They've been building up the relationship with Castle and she is such a key character to the show that if they kill her off it seems like it would need to be in some big showy way not just a quick "Goodbye Nikki Heat" and boom. But Nikki was in the middle of the room naked but for a towel. It would be a pretty unbelievable if she survived.
The FBI agent seemed to constantly be ordering Kate around to places where she would be front row to whatever the killer was planning so no real doubt she's involved.
If I remember correctly they mentioned that the door was shut and she fell into the tub. TV physics aside, its possible that she may have had that split second to get into the tub.

The tub thing was a bit of a stretch, I have to say. But that was a great episode.
GODDAMMIT, though! Why haven't Castle and Beckett fucked yet?! This tension is driving me crazy!
#39
Dave
Because like Moonlighting (for those of you old enough to remember that) the tension is more fun than them as a couple. Were they to get together it would cease to be cute and start to be a soap opera where they had to resolve their physical and emotional differences or issues. Look at House or Bones. These shows are at their best when there's a hint of something rather than a full-blown love affair.
It'll happen but I think that'll be when the show is either ending or jumping the shark.

From Nathan Fillion's Twitter...
Have you heard? CASTLE has a third season pick up! Cheers to you all for making it happen. Someone tell @WriteRCastle.
