The voice actor for Charlie Brown, the one who voiced that character in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" (1965) and "It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (1966), among others, has died at the age of 65 by suicide. [link]
Fuck.
As a Peanuts fan, this one hurts.

I didn't know the story until it started hitting the news yesterday.
Had no idea he had such a troubled existence.

Whenever someone with bipolar commits suicide, I get a tad twitchy, because that's what I have too. It's... weird.

My assumption is that it's a momentum issue. I mean, as I understand it, being bipolar is already a momentum issue, where a person's mood is like one of those pirate ship rides at the fair, where the bipolar person habitually builds up enough momentum without recognizing it* that they smash up against the stays at either extreme, which leads to...problems.
I mean, I'm no DSM dude, so feel free to stomp the above if it's incorrect.

*This being the part that classes a person as "bipolar"
