I will most likely be making a trip to the Chicago area to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins this October (tentatively the 3rd - 8th-ish). I figure I might as well meet up with some of my internet friends while I'm in the area. Anyone want to meet up for a meal or something?

I'm not sure if I count as a Chicago Halforumite anymore, but I'm up there half the time anyway, so if I'm in town I'd be game.
It's seven and a half hours for me. Expand a bit more and we've got a global meet'n'greet

I did a check. From me to Giordano's downtown, it's four hours. At least, that's what Streets and Trips (optimistically) says. It obviously doesn't take into account the Tollway and Chicago freeway driving.

No, the three of us are actually awesome. I just wondered if anyone else was close enough to bask in our glory.

I know we have a handful socal people. California needs a Mid-cal meet-up, but unfortunately theres only fields and despair for about 300 miles.

Seriously, Fresno was one of the most depressing places I've ever seen in my life.[DOUBLEPOST=1346030366][/DOUBLEPOST]You know, we could try the coast. Monterey and SLO are pretty nice.

And I am NOT meeting up with people in Bakersfield!
Edit: You think Fresno is bad, Tress? Bakersfield is even worse!
Signs point to no, but so long as the possibility exists, hope remains.
I will be visiting Kalamazoo Sept 6-10, could possibly swing the 3hr trip to Chicago if the cost of gas doesn't sink us. All depends on the next paycheck. I would put the current odds at about 30%.
