CSS Help?

Does anybody know of a simple way to use two background images in CSS? The main background image that I have is aligned top and center, but no HEX code is matching with it cross-browser. I need to make a background image to match the main background so that the background doesn't abruptly change color.

did you try just adding to background images, making them on different z-indexes? I don't know if that would work, but i think it might be a good place to start.

Also, do you have a software platform you use or is it someone's individual code?
