Hey guys. In this thread, we can share and discuss our own ideas for how we would develop films based on DC comic books, in terms of their story, characters and whatever. It doesn't matter if one even has a rough idea, as we can also help each other with discussing our ideas for DC films.
One idea that I would have in mind is Martian Manhunter. For me, I see a film for him as being done as a sci-fi noir. The film would start off showing his arrival to Earth and the creation of his identity as John Jones, while the main plot would involve him investigating a series of bizarre crimes. They hint at someone using the same abilities as he, with him discovering that White Martians have arrived on Earth for two reasons: to prepare the Earth for invasion and to get revenge on J'onn J'onzz for killing their leader back on Mars during their rebellion.

I can see your idea developed as a direct to video animation like those created before... In fact I think that Justice League The New Frontier introduced Jonn in a similar way.
Why none of the Vertigo properties have been developed as animation I do wonder.
