I know most people probably know him for L'estasi dell'oro ("The Ecstasy of Gold"), but he was much more than that.

I think I most respect him for not being afraid to use "experimental" electronic instruments and effects in his compositions at a time when color television hadn't even been widely adopted yet.

I chose this for his remembrance. A nice little gem of a movie, possibly not as known in the US as over here?

Because who would expect the Ride of the Valkyries in a western soundtrack.
