The corp has started to get a little more serious, and we have decided to set up a private subforum. I decided that this would be a good time to refocus the EvE online thread in the Games subforum to being our public thread. This is the place for you non-players to ask questions about the game to figure out if you might like it, or for us to tell you how incredible the game is. Etc.
Fact is our little corp is doing good. We've had a number of players from the forum come in, a number of them left, but the ones we have left are really into the game. We've also had a couple people come back as well.
One of the great things about the corp is that most of our members are from the forum, and we have history, which means there is a lot of inherent trust, which is something many corps can never get. Its also just more fun. The conversations we get into in game are as entertaining as anything you can get in the general thread.
To be honest there are a number of members of the Forum I actively want in the corp. This isn't meant to be a slight on anyone else, just that these people are the ones that have crossed my mind:
Mav - I know I've given you a hard time, but you and me share a like mind when it comes to MMOs, and I really do think you would enjoy this one if you checked it out. Drop STO, that's the Bella Sara of Space Based MMOs.
Chaz - You have the trash talking asshole attitude and I think you could actually back up if you got into this game. I know you've played MMOs before, so why not come in and try a good one?
Shego - Same as Chaz, but in a female form. Well, that's pretty general, and hopefully insulting. But I stand by it (although I don't know if you play any MMOs)
ScytheRexx - This isn't a taunt, honestly, I don't know if you have played this game before, and I would like to show you the game if at all possible. And I promise I won't talk about how WoW is terrible.
Gusto, Allen, Hylian - I enjoyed doing the podcast with you and yall seem to be seriously into good game design. I think you would like it.
Gas Bandit - Honestly I can't think of anyone who would like this game more than you, but I may be completely off with regards to what you are interested in.

Oh yeah,
Bhamv and Chronos - You play Dwarf Fortress. You know what the gold standard for game design is and you are willing to learn a difficult game to see it.
@lien - Step up or shut up. Until you look at this "exceptional" game I hereby revoke your right to talk trash about WoW.

This may not be necessary to have started a new thread, but I thought the old one was for a different purpose, and had gotten somewhat burdensome.
