So I've been playing Evony for a week now and I'm still into it. Very rare for browser games for me.

Let me know what you guys think of it. If we get enough players interested I'd like to start a HalfKnights alliance. For that to work, please join server 34 and start in the state of Romagna.

A couple of tips for players just starting out:
Follow the tutorial quests. Thems good advice right there. I couldn't believe how many people wouldn't simply follow it and learn.

Concentrate on getting each of your resources to level 5 (and a high enough population to maintain it) before anything else.

Get your townhall to level 4 - and no higher - to maximize resource spaces

It would seem the best troops to have are archers and warriors. Archers will take down pretty much anything else, you only need lots and lots of warriors as extremely cheap cannon fodder.

 

I can't see where I can choose the server. It automatically started me on 44.

After you create your log-in account, from the front page you can select which server to log into. It would appear you can have 1 account on each server. Though unless a bunch of people are playing and just not saying so, I don't think we have enough halforumers to start anything

I went ahead and started alliance HALights (limited characters, had to be creative) on server 44 if anyone happens to care.

 

Then I guess I'll play it again. I stopped because I was all alone!
