Every time I'd open Excel 2013 under Windows 8, it would crash instantly, leaving me a message: "Excel 2013 has stopped working".
I looked around and found a few solutions, but nothing worked for me.

Is it legitimate and licensed properly for this computer?
Have you uninstalled it and reinstalled it?
Is your computer up to date on all patches, both the operating system and the office software?
Have you scanned for virus/adware/etc with a reputable scanner?
