I didn't even realize he was still alive. I grew up listening to 50's rock (thanks to my dad). I love Fats, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Bill Hayley, etc. Glad he got to share his music for so long. RIP.

He was such a bad ass, he stayed in New Orleans during Katrina. It was a few days before he was found.
