I've been watching the Golden Collections again and wanted to share my absolute favourite Merry Melodies cartoon - Hillbilly Hare. For some reason, this cartoon makes me cackle with glee every time I watch it.

What's your favourite MM/LT cartoons?

And if you don't like them, share with me how you've lived this long without a soul.

Don't know the name of the specific one, but Duck Season/Rabbit Season has always been my favorite sketch.

Before my crappy computer actually finishes loading th page, I'm going to call: Duck Amuck, Fast and the Furry-ous, Marc Anthony and Pussyfoot, Hair Raising Hare, The Rabbit of Seville, One Froggy Evening, and What's Opera Doc? are all on this page.

For some reason I couldn't remember the name of Feed the Kitty and just called it Marc Anthony and Pussyfoot.

Gimme any Roadrunner/Wily E. Coyote cartoon. You just don't get that kind of brilliant, extreme cause and effect cartoon violence anymore. It's SUCH a shame because that's such great slapstick.

Just about anything by Tex Avery or Chuck Jones.

I was going to say "Symphony in Slang" with "The House/Car of Tomorrow," tied for second, but those were Tex Avery, not WB.

Right now, the only one that comes to mind (that hasn't been posted already) is the one with, "So, he's hidin' in that stove, eh?"

Kati has a soft spot for Pepe LePew (*smooch* *smooch* *smooch*).

Yes, and there was supposed to be a DVD release of these soon.

Although the great ones have been posted already, this one holds a special place in my heart 'cause it's the first one I ever saw and the magician's spell will forever be stuck in my head.

Roota...poota...zoot!

This. Almost nothing is as funny as a bull flying through the air looking dumbfounded, and I laugh every time he says, "Stop steaming up my tail!". Every...damn...time...

This one for the sheer amount of genius stuff that was cut out from it's many TV airings.

Will be watching all of these as soon as I'm done with work.

This is making me miss June Bugs (and Boomerangs counter marathon of Daffy Duck cartoons). Also, Toon Heads.
