Export thread

The Rules:
1. For the month of February, every contestant must draw and post at least one image a day every single day of the month. That's 28 days.
2. You can post more than 1 image each day, but they don't 'carry over'. (so if you post 2 drawings on Monday, you still have to post at least one on Tuesday)
3. You can post sketches, finished art, works-in-progress, comic strips, anything, as long as it was done that day.
4. If you miss a day, there isn't TOO much shame in that, but there is HUGE shame (huge!) in posting 'old' sketches as your daily entry. The point of this challenge is to DRAW every day (not merely to post something each day), so the drawings MUST be new. A new stick-man is better than an old masterpiece.
5. Crappy sketches are infinitely better than no sketches at all!

Additional information:
While it was previously stated that i was 90% sure we would do it on this board, sadly, at the last minute, during crunch time, we decided to plug a different forum. That doesn't mean that halforums can't do it here though! It was always a dream to spread like a disease across internet forums in the name of drawing everyday in February. I will be posting here everyday of february and i know that there were some awesome halforums artists interested in doing it so we're still gonna rock it here!

PLEASE CREATE A NEW THREAD FOR YOUR FEBRUARY DRAWINGS and i will provide links in this thread! *funny name threads acceptable*

I'm in! Hi everybody, I'm one of the refugees that Fennewalde is talking about, heh. Yeah, the group of artists ended up going on to another forum because a bunch of them were actually registered on there already but I don't see why it can't be run across both forums (in fact, that's kinda cool) so come February 1st, I'll get my own thread set up here and start posting too. I'm not quite on par with Fenn up there haha, but I try. Nice to meet all of you!

And for the heck of it, I figured I'd try my hand at one of them Martin Luther King pics too, heh cuz why notz. Sorry if it 's any way offensive to anybody (if it is, I'll delete it no problem).


But yeah - looking forward to this! Sorry for the ridiculous lateness with all this too. First pics are due by the end of February 1st (like, on our own February 1sts, in our own timezones...so if you're in Australia, that's comin' up pretty quick-like for you, heh).

And for the record, latecomers are always welcome (just in case this got started too late)!

Oh - and thanks again to Halforums for letting us throw down here! This forum has some crazy-advanced functions that I've never seen on any forum before. Crazy!

I just told Fenn to check the boards, but apparently ImageShack is banned in China (Fenn's in China right now) so the image is just showing up as a tiny Chinese text link or something. I had no idea. Dammit. Fenny, ol' soul, you need to see this glory.
Is it possible to re-upload that picture on to a Photobucket.com account so that all the poor image-starved Chinese people on the board can revel in it? Apparently photobucket.com is allowed in China. I dunno if that's too much hassle, but yeah, otherwise we might end up just having a draw-every-day thing where all the images are invisible to some (one?) of the participants.

...which, granted, now that I think about it, could lead to some hilariously absurd comments on images, heh, but yeah I dunno. Dammit China - unlock your internet!

Oh, whoops. Sorry Silver Jelly - my comment was actually directed at Bianno up top (I was just insanely slow at typing it so I didn't see your post). But yeah apparently Fenn can't see your picture either, haha. Great.

So yeah, I'm not sure here. I believe photobucket is free to register on. Umm...does anybody else have any other ideas on what to do about this?

Also, one thing: is it possible for us to all start up our own threads for this February thing? In the past that's how we did it, because if we all post our images in this one thread, it could get kind of crazy in here. Although maybe that's a good thing...hmm...I dunno. I'm easy either way and would be up for having us all post in one mega-thread, but yeah - what do you guys think?

Also, welcome CogNoman to the boards. He is the godfather. Additionally, if you could use photobucket or host the image on your own, that would be great for me because my internet has some strange censor issues with most other photo-host sites. I'm not even sure if i can see pics hosted by this website.
