Firefox trouble [FIXED]

For some reason, since the computer suddenly shut down today (for reasons unknown), Firefox is unable to remember my active sessions in here, or facebook, mail clients etc.
It also failed to do what it usually does in these cases when I re-open it after such a shutdown, wich is trying to reload the pages I was viewing.

What can I do?

Switch to IE.

...but seriously, sounds like your profile got messed up. Take a look at this article to see if it can help you.

Am I missing something?

Cause my advice right now would be "Open up a new tab, navigate to the site you want to view and login if necessary"

But I don't want to have to login every time I open a new window! (or tab, but I don't really use them)

Let's see that article now...

We should start a new religion... that's where the real money is. And no one else has a browser fixing cult yet, so we could even copyright the idea...

Yes, it was. GO FOR THAT CULT, Richard! Go for it!

The Explorer, the Fox, and the Holy Chrome?
Should work - till people start introducing offshoots, such as claiming that opera is the one true browser. Then it's gonna get ugly.

I just don't have the charisma to be a cult leader. I can grow a sweet beard though. You think people would overlook the lack of cult-leader level charisma if the beard is good enough?

If you use it to mesmorize people, yes. :D

So, we need terms for our cult:

- Our subjects will be called Explorers.
- We will hold service in an Opera House, known as "Attending Opera" or "Going to Opera"
- Our god / holy symbol / mascot will be the almighty Fire Fox. (We will keep a fox around at Opera to worship)
- All of our cultly implements (our cultlery, perhaps?) shall be Chrome-plated.
- When our subjects go on pilgrimage, it will be known as going on Safari.

We will be surfing the world wide web of life, looking for the hyperlink into God's heart. And when our journey is complete, we will upload ourselves, to be downloaded straight to Heaven.
