Partly due to it being Toronto-based and largely because it co-starred "Pink Ranger" Amy Jo Johnson, I checked out a Canadian series called Flashpoint.
And...it's not that bad, actually. It got cliche near the end with the television gimmick I'm now officially sick of - sad pop song while everyone does stuff in silence. Still, I did like how they presented the aftermath of a dramatic and heroic shoot-out. The "hero" of the episode was presented as very human and I liked that aspect of it.
Plus, it was kind of fun to watch it and think "Ooh, they're on the subway...and I betcha that stop is...yep! Osgoode!" or recognizing other locales.
My girlfriend tells me the show gets a bit formualic, but I'm gonna give it a few more episodes.

Amy Jo Johnson was pretty much my first crush ever. Oh, Kimberly.

So this isn't about the upcoming Flash even by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert?
*walks away sadly*

You mean "Yet another comic book event where big changes are promised but will likely mean nothing in less than a year"?
