So my laptop has suddenly lost the ability to charge its battery. Now I make the unfortunate discovery that HP doesn't have a friggin repair center in this country, which means the laptop has to be sent to Spain for repair, a process that takes at least two weeks.
Or at least that's what they told me at the store. I call the HP support line and they tell me to fill out a form so they can send me some sort of component to test the battery (?) and if that doesn't work, the laptop must be sent to repair. In other words, it's going to take LONGER than two weeks at a time when assignments and projects that need said laptop are forthcoming.
I'm never buying an HP laptop again.
