BBC News - 'Biofuel cells' could power gadgets with energy drinks

When I read this, I keep thinking Parasite Eve!!! but still, this is very interesting. I am not knowledgeable in biology of this level, but still. This is pretty cool.

We probably won't see the fruition of this tech within our lifetime.

So does that mean people's energy drinks will start causing them to mutate into hideous monsters, as well as occasionally pretending to be the dead fiancee of scientists to acquire their sperm?

hehe... that would be... actually scary. not as cool as I initially thought.
