As some of you may be aware, one of the greatest manga series of the past decade, Fullmetal Alchemist, came to an end this week with the release of Chapter 108. Suffice it to say, it was appropriately spectacular.
For those not familiar with it, the series is available here. An excellent animated adaptation, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, is also set to conclude this month. Both are highly recommended, and the dub of Brotherhood that Funimation's been releasing has been great so far.
Anyone else a fan of/interested in discussing this series?

Spectacular indeed. I love Full Metal Alchemist and I have to say it was an appropriate ending. Happy, but not too mushy.
I rapidly shift between hating the Ed and Winry relationship finale and thinking that it was just the perfect way for them to get together with him being a huge dork and completely flubbing his delivery and her loving him despite it.
It was a great ending everybody ended up happy without it being mushy and you get a real feeling that they made the world a much better place with their actions. Though I would have loved to see what happens to Major Armstrong but he was only a background character so I'm not surprised he didn't get his own little send off.
