Yes @Squidleybits , after sixteen years of wrapping birthday presents, our giant roll of neverending wrapping paper has wrapped its last present.

Goodbye roll, you will be missed.

Poor thing. It was $10 well spent at Costco.

Actual years, not even accounting for the current POTUS time effect.

Costco don't exist here. I don't know how freakishly large their products are.

Hard to carry out of the store large. I bought it our first Christmas in the house.

In its defense, I did get some tired of it over the years, so alternate holiday paper was bought a few times.

My family had a giant roll of wrapping paper that lasted like 30+ years. Of course, it was hideous, and we only used it for gag gifts. I wonder if my parents still have it...

I try to buy smaller rolls of wrapping paper, ones that can be used up relatively quickly.

This facilitates access to the cardboard tube, for lightsaber battles.

I hate wrapping presents and now I'm upset because I'm going to have to. Bah, humbug.

Have you considered enrobing them in chocolate?
