This sealed my purchasing fate. I had doubts, major ones, with Albarn handling all the production himself.
Have to say, it definitely sounds a lot more like their first album than it does Demon Days.

Stylo- the video is up. Is that Bruce Willis?

I liked it, though I think Demon Days was better. I'll probably have to listen to it a bit more though before I can say for sure.

Demon Days is still probably the best, but this album is pretty kickin. Hell yes Bruce!

Fuck and yes! Can't wait to hear the full album.
You gotta love the Stylo video. It's got Bruce Willis, a fat donut eating cop, fast cars, and a evil shadow creature. What more could you want in a music video?

That is great.
You know what's interesting is how fast they have moved away from "singles" it seems. I like it but it's an interesting choice to not have a really accessible song like Clint Eastwood as their first single/video.

Video: Gorillaz look scary as hell rendered like that.
Also, has anyone hit the web site? They've built it into a full Plastic beach adventure game. Dinked around for an hour or so there. Had some trouble with the popup games, but I love the dialog.
