Like I said in the other thread there are two submission types, short tweets of 140 characters and what I'm calling Mega Tweets of 140 words.
Please only post submissions to this thread. Use the other one for the circlejerk of commplaments while secretly hoping your competition chokes on a bag of shit.
I will be counting, so don't try to pull a fast one on me.
If you go for the mega tweet, please make sure they are at least 50 words long. Don't try to submit a 150 character tweet as a mega tweet.
If you have any questions, need a clarification or want to argue rules or something please do so in the other thread. I'm going to try and avoid this thread so when I judge (harshly) at the end i don't already have submissions in mind.

I said I'd follow you anywhere. Death was just a transition. Now we have forever, here in the dark. Tell me love, are you...are you smiling?

The sounds of shuffling in the hall, light spills under the door. I can only hear my heart pounding as the wood splinters. Then screaming.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

Voices cry to get out. I see the flame blacken my arm pushing through the broken door. So long as I feel his tiny fingers, I won't let go.

I opened my eyes, and there were mouths in the darkness.

Waking up I hear a noise, my 3 children, my girl and boys. Fire stops me, I wish it'd end.. because this burning home won't be whole again.

A beer for you, a beer for you, a beer for you, another for you. Here's a beer, here's another beer. *pause* Oh my god, we're out of beer.

My face cold on the floor. Mine gone now, I absorb the fear in her eyes as she's dragged away. I pray for her as doors close on us both.

The chill in the air, the wind on your neck, the hum in your ear. By the time you feel it, it's already too late. It comes for you.

Posting in a contest that is already over. I pull out the lock thread command. Am I too late?
