No one mentioned that season 3 had started... for shame.

Compared to season 1, how does the series do? I finally decided to check some episodes out and so far I'm done with it if it's just going to be more of the same.

Last time I mentioned The Guild, a lot of people said they thought it sucked.

Season 3's been great. Will frigging Wheaton's in it! Woo!

And he's wearing a kilt... that's got to count for something.

I enjoy The Guild.

Wil Wheaton is awesome, outside a TNG setting.

And several others said they really enjoy it.

There's only one way to settle this... a fight to the death:

I like it. Hate that it takes weeks for it to get off of Xbox Live though. Also, the Guild site HATES Firefox, so I have to watch it in IE.

Loving season three so far. Dare I say I'm liking Vork wandering the world and having adventures?

I decided to finish season 1, and I can see the appeal, but overall I guess it's just not really for me. Taking the last episode as an example, all the MMO jokes felt kind of forced and out of place. Like when the bad mom character is talking to Zaboo's mom and just turns away saying "oh no, I'm out of Mana"

I thiink the characterization of most of the people is offputting as well. I understand what they're going for, but putting 6 introverted people with poor social skills together seems like a bad choice. I understand not really making them likeable and cool, but it kind of gets the formula wrong. I think I would have prefered to see a more diversity in the steriotypes. Throw in a jock who seceretly plays it and dosen't want anyone to know he's a nerd. Or a guy who always plays at work and has to do it in secerecy or something.

It would be interesting to see someone elses take on a similar premise. I may skip season 2 and watch a bit of 3 just to see if fresh blood adds anything to the mix.

Have you tried watching it on Felicia Day's Blog, that worked a lot better for me than The Guild site, plus it has up to episode 5 online.

Episode 6 is online

I'm glad that Codex is slowly growing a spine, even though she's still a complete doormat.

Good grief, this just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Fun, though.

"I just got done doing your Mom." :D

The look on his face was great. It also explains why the Axis of Anarchy can get away with this stuff: One of their members is a cop.

I wonder how many angry emails they've gotten from anarchists telling them variations of "anarchy does not work that way!"

Also, isn't it a little ironic that an anarchist is working as a cop?

Episode 8 is up, and it comes with the gag reel from eps 5-8.

Bonus Halloween Episode, the Guild goes Trick or Treating!

LOL, hilarious! I think I liked Vork's part best of the guildies, but I think the couple they harassed really stole the episode.

Really? To me, it's far better than the other seasons. Much more professionally done, and the dialogue is getting much more funny.

I got around to watching "Seasons" 1-2 (how does a show constitute webisodes that are generally 5 minutes long?..)

Anyway, season 1 was retarded, season 2 had a few lol moments but overall it just feels like Felicia Day saw PurePwnage and decided to copy it with a MMO/WoW theme, in shorter episodes released more often. How they got sponsored by Microsoft I'd love to know..like, seriously?

I also second the Xbox Live hate for getting episodes, way to shit on your audience there, I mean I can't say I watched the show when it started up, cause I didn't. But what about the people that did? Now they have to wait for Xbox Live people to get their first access before they do?

the_pwnerer could take codex any day of the week
