I might be the only one who uses it, but both of the website apps for connecting to irc (the mibbit, which I always use, and the other, which I can't remember) can no longer connect to the IRC server.
Since I'm usually on an isp that blocks IRC traffic, this is important to me, as using the website's app was the only way I could join the IRC channels. I've tested it on non-blocked isps as well, it always stalls at connecting to server.

I just tested it and before it would let me in I had to upgrade my java client. But it did let me in after that.

I see there's no longer any mibbit, just the PJIRC app.
Unfortunately, PJIRC doesn't seem to redirect the traffic anywhere. It's just a straight IRC pipe. Which means it's still blocked for me.
Any chance that the mibbit app, which -did- run through a proxy, could be fixed? If not, then I need to find someone that can teach me to set up my own proxy.

I disabled the mibbit until there was a fix for it. I could try turning it back on for you, but it just sits and cycles and does nothing.

That's alright. I know I'm likely the only person that has this problem, since I'm not sure how many rely on verizon mobile broadband to chat on IRC with
I'll just have to find out how to fix it on my end.

It was broken on my end too, I've been using Mibbit since I switched to my laptop and started using Chrome instead of firefox. I'll just have to find a client other than chatzilla I guess
