The new DLC for L4D & L4D2 hits Tuesday, so I thought the following weekend would be a good time to try and get a game together to play "The Sacrifice"

So does Saturday October 9th at 7PM Eastern work for enough people?

EDIT: Moved the time earlier.

HMMMM! Maybe! Starting earlier, like at say 7, would work better for me, since I have to go silent at 10pm typically.

But yeah! Probably!

I can barely shoot a zombie from the lag. On my Dell on L4D1, I used to swivel. BOOM! Zombie. BOOM! Zombie. Now I have to struggle to gun one straggler with the submachine gun. Had it always been this way, maybe I wouldn't notice, but I used to kick ass when I had a decent gaming computer, and now I can barely scrape by on this clunker. Granted, not playing games on it anymore has probably stretched its lifespan, but it won't let me kill zombies.

I wonder if Seej has L4D2 yet..

Will it be cross game? Cause I only have L4D.

I haven't seen anything so far to suggest that L4D will be able to play with L4D2. We can get a second game going on another night if there's enough interest in L4D, I know I'm up for it.

You can't cross game. You all have to play the same one.

My main computer conked out on me so I have to use the laptop for gaming now and it's not really built like the desktop was for that. It might be able to run the first one though, I'll have to check but if it does I'd be down to play that on another night.

I'll probably be super rusty though as I haven't played for probably a year.

The game came out at the end of last November.

I was reffering to the first game if we happen to get a date going for that one as well. As I said, the laptop I have to use to game on probably can't handle the second.

Okay, changed the time to 7PM Eastern. I was hoping to get more feedback, but hopefully we'll still get enough players.

Also, what day of the week works for anyone who wants to play L4D?

I may try and jump on the computer on Saturday and see if you guys are still playing. I'm on mountain standard time so I'm two hours behind eastern... if you're planning on playing late I may be able to play.

I'm in. If more people don't join up, I've recently found a bunch of friends who had apparently never added me on Steam who rock some L4D2.

I only have it on the 360

MD: if you have a PC, you can buy it now with all the free upgrade for like 6.79$ EACH (l4d1 and l4d2)

I have a MacBook Pro at home. Dunno if they have this for it or if my MB Pro can run it.

Yeah, L4D2 is available on the Mac and L4D is coming soon (both are/will be SteamPlay titles, one purchase gets you PC & Mac). Don't know if your computer will run it, though.

Yea and it should work on a Mac.

My Pc found the perfect time to crap out on me (last Friday)... i won't even get to play the Sacrifice at all for a while... and the weather is crappy too, i have nothing to do this week...

This would be totally awesome, and 7 Eastern works fine with me.

Oh snap. I won't be on. I just found out my friends are doing a party for us October babies since I'll be out of the country on my actual B-day.... and guess which day is it? Oct 9th.

Add people that you had a good experience playing with to your friends list... eventually you'll have enough to be able to find players whenever... takes a while though.
