One of the biggest things we mods struggle with is what threads deserve to be put in the Hall of Fame. I mean, not every thread deserves to be there, but some do. The problem is, we don't want to put them there if they are still being actively posted in and when people stop posting we tend to forget about them.
So here's a solution. On the first post of every thread there's now a link to Nominate a Thread for the Thread of the Month. Top vote getter every month will be moved into the Hall of Fame. It may still be actively being posted in, but with the "New Post" button people should still be able to get to it.
Please vote on a few now to test out & see if the poll works or if I have to open the poll up for direct voting - which would be weird. I tested on 5 pretty random threads so I want to see if one or more of them fall off based on user votes.

Sweet! It updates the polls but only from the thread voting and not from directly clicking in the poll. Excellent!
I think this is going to work. Voting will start in earnest on November 1, but I think we're close enough to look at these as viable votes.
