So, how is everyone celebrating Turnip Day? Any feats of turnippy strength? Fried turnip slices for the big game? Turnip bowling?

We have turnip races and raw turnip snacks later tonight.

I thought it was National Beet Week!

(For the record, I'm not a fan of either beets nor turnips.)

I've never eaten turnip.

I like beets. I like turnips.

I've eaten beets, turnips and turnip greens, of the three I prefer the greens. Or brownies, brownies are very good.

So was this the 24th? In which case I missed it. Who schedules and important day like this for a Sunday? Its turnips not Football!

I shall be making a late observance as I shall be partaking of neeps with my Haggis for tonights Burns supper.
