21 year old Marine is killed in Iraq in 2006. He was married in 2005 and his daughter was born in 2006 a month before he was killed. He never saw her father and she never will.

His step-mom would routinely visit the J.C. Penny in Lincoln, NE because the wedding photo of the young couple was hanging on the wall as a promotional item. One day she went there and found that not only did J.C. Penny use this photo as a promotional icon on their wall, but was using it for the stock photo for all of their picture frames.

Now everywhere she goes she can look at picture frames and see her stepson happy and healthy right before his wedding.

Instead of being upset they are flattered and happy that they can always see their son.

Excuse me. I have to go. There's dirt in my eye.

It's okay, it's okay. This is beautiful, tears were shed.

I don't know if that's flattering or heartwarming or any of that. But, it is a neat coincidence. Gave me a chuckle more than anything.

Admit it Dave you are just trying to make us think you have emotions after that last news story you posted on Monday.

I see it more as the coincidence too. It is a neat story.

That one was funny because of how I thought of it, not the story itself.

This one is just cool.

Save for the very last bit, [/cynicism] I have to say it is a heartwarming coincidence.

I hope they got royalties for that. Especially if it's being used nationwide.
