So I've been making my way through Grand Theft Auto V - which is fantastic, by the way. While they're not very common, the best missions are the heists. Lots of planning and side missions and some really fun stuff in the missions.
Anyway, it's got me in the mood for some more heist-related media. Right now, I'm making my way through The Town, which is amazing and making me wish I'd seen it sooner. I've "legally obtained" Heat and currently "obtaining" Layer Cake, which was recommended to me by a friend.
Oh yes. But not in quite a long time. I'm adding it to the list.

Oh, and Inception.

I should really watch Reservoir Dogs. I've had it in my Netflix queue forever.

I would like to know your thoughts on Layer Cake, I hear it's good, but I want a second opinion.
Also, if you want a heist with quite a bit of silliness thrown in, you might consider Formula 51 (if I haven't already recommended it).
If you want something a bit more retro, you might try $.
(Yes, the title is just a single dollar sign)

Fast 5 is ridiculous-in-a-good-way
The Hard Word (from Australia) has a good cast.

Dead Presidents and The Sting would be my two contributions.
Which is one of the reasons I recommended The Sting

Oh! And The Maltese Falcon, because Humphrey Bogart

Smokin' Aces comes off quite like a heist movie, with the twist that the target is a person.

The Score. Norton, De Niro, and flippin Brando.
A Fish Called Wanda. Monty Python-lite

Ronin. It has some really great chase scenes.

The Bank Job - true story. Heist and political intrigue.

Tower Heist is more of a tropes comedy, but the heist itself is pretty decent, and all-in-all it's a solid movie.

I freaking love Dog Day Afternoon. Also, Layer Cake is fantastic. I also endorse Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Snatch. Seems like others beat me to my recommendations!
I didn't like A Fish Called Wanda, however, to offer a contrary opinion.

Along those same lines, there are con game movies like The Grifters, Paper Moon, Matchstick Men, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
The Grifters is just excellent. John Cussak, Melanie Griffith and Angelica Huston.

Inside Man is good and I like The Thomas Crown Affair (both versions).

Only one I can think of that I think of that hasn't been mentioned, while not a great movie, is definitely fun is The Italian Job.
