Switzerland is gorgeous! Oddly, Swiss francs are roughly equal to the US dollar but everything costs twice as much. France won't be cheap...except in comparison to Switzerland!

Travel around a bit inside the EU, and you'll see that sort of difference too. Same currency, completely different pricing. it's odd.
