Help me Buy a Clock

So today hammered home my need to buy a dedicated alarm clock.

Long story short I have for the past three years used my cellphone as an alarm clock. Last month I got a droid phone which has done it's clock duty fine, however, this phone locks up constantly and needs to be rebooted often. Today it locked up while I was asleep and thus I overslept two hours. phone issues aside I have decided to invest in a good alarm clock.

To that end I have narrowed my selection down to three and would like to solicit opinions on the three I have picked.

This is the cheapest of the ones I have found that I like. It's got a high visibility display and a neat gimmick where I can talk to it. Since I rather like talking to inanimate objects this appeals to me. Perhaps I might find a meaningful relationship with it when I awaken beside it each day.

We follow up with:

This thing is as loud as a jackhammer and can shake the hell out of my bed. This of course will startle me, my roomates, and the upstairs neighbors awake. In addition I get my daily cardio in as my heart races when I am awakened and scramble in a panicked tumble to try and silence it's banshee-like wail. Cons: What if I am not home and it goes off? Tales of a wailing ghost haunting of my apartment might begin to circle around the coffee house in the apartment complex...next thing I know BAM Ghosthunters knocking down my door. Wankers.

Lastly we have this:
http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/lights/9bac/
This bad boy has 21 fucking alarms and you KNOW you want to set every last one of them. Time to get up? BAM got an alarm for that. Time to go to work? BAM you're covered. Need to take some meds? ZAP got your back. Time to poop like a boss? PBBBBT go you covered bro. Other persk include things like a USB charging port (for when you just got to sleep through charging something) and of course you can set "ringtones" for you alarm so you can mistake it for your phone and scrable around wondering why you slept through a call from the president.

All three of these bad boys would make an excellent choice to fill my chronograph and timed assistance from ending daily hibernation needs. but, alas, I can only choose one. All three are in budget so that isn't really an issue.

What are you guy's thoughts?

Edit:

As added incentive for opinions I will upload a photo of the clock in it's new home by my bed being humped by Optimus Prime giving a thumbs up.

Edit 2: This is the serious non-humorous edit. I have a lot of geek points on that site I will be redeeming with the purchase of a clock so while appreciated please refrain from suggesting items from other sites/stores. I am seriously looking for opinions on the three specific items I listed.

$10 alarm clock from WalMart should work just fine.

If money isn't an issue, I think the last one looks sick.

Okay so the middle one would just scare the ever loving fuck out of me.

Another vote for the Neverlate Executive

I'll wager he has some variety of walking clock in that box.

I've always wanted something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Philips-HF3480-Wake-up-Light/dp/B002CGSYPS

It slowly turns a light on from full dim, to more and more bright, 30 minutes before the alarm goes off. Great for these dark MN winters.

I would be tempted by:

I rarely need an alarm clock, but when I do, I want to be absolutely sure I wake up.

I came into this thread because I have a dirty mind and mis-read the title. Yep.

It runs from you when it goes off in the morning.

If money is no object, hire a guy to stand in your house and yell the time every hour.

Either that or change the clock to glock and the thread suddenly becomes more interesting.

After having talked it over with various folk and reading the input here I have chosen to purchase a small midget from a third world nation to awaken me at the proper time.

However my roomates object to this ergo I am currently trading in the midget for option 3, the Executive clock. It should arrive Friday.

Watch this thread as I shall produce the promised photos of Optimus getting jiggy with this new clock.

I am currently trading in the midget
Had I known that Thinkgeek accepted midgets as trade-in, I wouldn't be in nearly as much trouble with the law as I am now.

I would say any but the Moshi. I know some people that have gotten one and they didn't like it. Went so far as to turn off the voice commands because they never really worked correctly.

Should've gotten a Nickelodeon alarm clock. My sister had one--5:30 A.M., trumpets and splat sounds as loud as could be. You wouldn't have slept through it, though I doubt it would've have lasted one angry morning.
