I decided to install some custom themes for vista. I have already used VistaGlazz to patch the necessary files. I know how to get the themes itself installed but I am having trouble changing the icons, buttons and stuff. I downloaded a theme from DeviantArt ( http://r0under.deviantart.com/art/Aero- ... l-69663294 ). Now it wants me to take control of some .dll files and it telling me to make backups of the files before I take control of them. Now my question is do they want me to just make a restore point or do they want me to actually find the files and save them in separate folder? Also if I do make the changes how easy is it to go back to the original buttons, icons, etc?

I had always wanted a fully functional Resident Evil "Umbrella" or World of Warcraft theme for my OS.
*sigh*

I cannot contribute any advice, but I'll go ahead and third the notion that how-tos on custom vista themes would be appreciated, as well as any decent places to get them.
