This has been making the rounds on the Internet, so I figured I'd just post this here...
Any thoughts? I'll admit it's terribly one-sided, but it does echo my own experiences with my own Tea Party family members.

I lawled. Though it gets too soapboxy by the end.

Yeah, I laughed as well. I think it does marginalize a bit the concerns of tea party people. Asking questions on some of the stuff though often leads to "it was sent to me in an email", which possibly the worst place to get accurate information.

1) Love the video.
2) The computer pronunciations are hilarious.
Someone knew their "Yet Another Blogpost About How Stupid the Average Teapartier Is" rant wouldn't be read, so they animated two talking bears with a computer voice.
Badly.
And the rant sucks, as rants go - sure, it shows that many in the tea party do little more than parrot what they've been told, but one can readily find a liberal that is as badly informed about why they believe what they believe that a similar rant could be done with them as the butt of the joke. Same as Republicans, or any other popular political movement/party/etc.
It would have been more interesting set up as a debate between two who were on equal footing intellectually, and understood very well why they believe what they believe.
I do enjoy the irony at the end where the "reasonable" one goes off the deep end about what he thinks the the tea party will cause.
Sadly the tea part appears to become enough of a player in the political scene that one does need to be aware of them and their goals.

I don't think that can be organized. Unless you want to see a lima bean and a Tea Partier sitting on comfy chairs...

NR, I love you man, but there's nothing I hate more than attacks on intellect just because of differing political beliefs....despite the fact its par for the course in the current political era.

It was just too good a chance not to do it. Kinda like an obnoxious yuppie bending over to pick a coin on the street next to a huge puddle, his ass sticking out towards a shop that sells steel-capped boots. It would have been wrong of me not to kick it
In all seriousness, however, never take anything I say about US politics seriously.

Now that I've viewed each of the other videos, I've discovered that these are not necessarily meant to make fun of one group or make some sound extreme, but to point out the absurdity in some of the ideas believed about those groups. They aren't meant to be a point/counterpoint, but they display the incredible straw men arguments used by each side to treat others with varying views as not having legitimate concerns.
Tea Partier, revisited (From the view of the Tea Partier, other person the idiot)
Democrat, (Democrat is the idiot)
Liberal Democrat (Liberal Democrat is an idiot)
They're cute, sure. Even hilarious, but certainly not an accurate representation of the people that support these groups.
