I just discovered Diablo Swing Orchestra, described on Wikipedia as a Swedish avant-garde metal band. The quality and variety on this album, considering that it's free, blew my mind.

Houdini Roadshow (Down in the City) & Jesson (Blues for a Soldier) on that site are pretty good, Techdirt had Jamendo noted in their comments section last week.
