How do I make my @#^$% Tauren faster??

I created a Tauren druid and right now it's at lvl 5. My question is, is there a way to make it faster? An enchantment or potion or something? I'm so used to the speed of my blood elf hunter that the poor Tauren is positively plodding by comparison! I want to level some more with it, but the slow speed is driving me nuts!

That's the curse of the Tauren. They run the same speed, but due to their size they look like they are running slower. Unless of course you're talking about the aspect of the cheetah you get as a hunter, which does make you move faster.

There are some enchants you can put on boots that have a minor run speed increase. I believe they tend to be a bit expensive though.

also run speed potions, but it has like 2 min cool down. once you hit 20 though, 30 isn't too far off ;)

WAIT...

why are you not at least 16 yet, it should only take you 2 hours TOPS to hit 16. 1-20 should take like 2 hours and then 20-30 should maybe take another 2 or 3 hours.

Also, now they Exp is raised and the amount needed to level has been lowered.

He's also completely new to the game and taking things slow. Leave the guy alone.

And Taurens are slow as fuck. They tell me they move the same speed but my Tauren Warrior just DRAGS!

I got QH literally about 2 days ago after trying to get the damned thing to work for weeks. Fortunately, one of the forumites gave the instructions that finally got it working, and for which I am grateful. Even with QH, it still won't make the Tauren any faster. What was that about enchanting boots? Any increase in speed will be better than the speed my Tauren has now. Maybe one of you guys is an enchanter?

Yep, I'm mere months into the game, and it's been only in the last couple of months that I finally began to understand some of the complexities of playing the game. Once it started sinking in, then my hunter began leveling a lot faster. Had I been able to get QH working right off the bat, I betcha my learning curve would have been a lot shorter.

You know what bugs me? I've been trying to get QH working for weeks. The very day I began using it, someone asked me if it helps, and I said it did - I noticed that right off the bat. And wouldn't you know, he has it up the very next day! I was thinking, DAMN! Why did it take me weeks and he got it working just like that?

I think Curse.com hates me. :paranoid:

don't worry i got that he was new. Also if this server was my main then i would totally be helping you out with a lowbie character, but i already have 2 other "mains" on earthen ring and this is a side character when my mom can't play so i dont out level her.

my only advice is concentrate on kill quests first, try to hit ones all from the same area (meaning pick up the max number of quests you can get from a town), and keep moving...don't sit and wait for respawns/talk/look around too much.

All characters move exactly the same speed. What you are dealing with is perception.

Make a Gnome, run around for a few minutes, and you will think you are Speedy Gonzales.

It's the same effect as if you drive a Mazda all your life at around 70MPH, and then move to a Hummer. You will feel like the Hummer is dragging even though you are still going 70MPH due to the size, how far you are from the ground, etc...

Since you are a Druid, once you hit 20 you can turn into a smaller cat. Once you do that you will notice your precieved speed will increase, even though the affective speed won't change.

I felt the same way about playing a Draenei. She seemed so slow. But it was all perception.
