They edit the colors, several gases show up as red and they go back and artificially recolor certain gases to come to the pictures you see above.

Well maybe not quite edited but they have no color when they take the pictures. They give them color based on the type of gas and stuff that they are made of. They also adjust the contrast and saturation to make it the most appealing.
