'Nuff said.

PBS is running it again. Probably to promote a new PBS/BBC teamup on Holmes (the Brett series was co-produced by PBS and BBC) with (shudder) a "21st century spin".

Everyone over here was thinking along your lines before the new Sherlock Holmes series was screened on the BBC.

Now it's a critically acclaimed hit, with people clamouring for the second season. Took people completely by surprise.

That's good to know. I look forward to it then. I voraciously consumed the Holmes stories when I was a kid, and Brett was perfect.

We already have Holmes for the 21st Century. It's called House

Watched it last week. I really enjoyed it (the first and third episodes were better than the second). Although I was a little disappointed that I was able to work out who the killer was in the first episode waaaaaay before Sherlock did.

Both the lead actors are fantastic in it. Well worth a watch.
