Another option: They both end up in one body, sharing it like a pair of split personalitites. This would solve the fucking Romance Triangle without somebody needing to murder the hypotenuse.

Yeah, but the only way they will solve the prophecy involving the Storm King marrying the Hetrodyne girl is if the two of them ended up in Tarvek's body.

Nice thing about prophecies is that if you work them into a story correctly you can sometimes make them come true in the most epic and yet unlikely way possible. I mean who knows? Tarvek may have absolutely no connection to the Storm King. Considering Gil's mother hasn't been confirmed yet he may be just as likely a competitor for the throne.

My theory is that Gil's mother is from Skifander in fact I believe that Gil and Zeetha are brother and sister.

My theory as well. But it seems pretty obvious when you consider all of the similarities between them and the likelihood that Skifander was where the Baron was sent to by Lucrecia.

I don't know how much of a "hint" the last one provides. I think the townsfolk are just making fun at this point.
Even if they are brother and sister, I think it's only via their mother. I don't think that Zeetha is the Baron's daughter.
