I've kinda noticed that 99% of my posts are only about movies and in movie threads. I'm more than that, I promise! While I do like movies, I have more to contribute to the world and the forum than my thoughts about cinema.
So what are some other good threads going that have nothing to do with movies here? help me out, halforum.
And Michael Bay's bank account goes up a penny with every click he makes...

Nothing wrong with being drawn to the threads that interest you. You're interested in movies, so you contribute most in movie threads. Gasbandit is interested in politics, so he posts most in political threads. JCM's interested in his Nintendo DS, so he posts in threads about DS games. Shego's interested in taunting Kurtz, so she... yeah.
Granted, there's nothing wrong with wanting to diversify either. I'm just saying don't look down on yourself just because most of your contributions are in movie threads. You're still contributing.

This thread is mainly me wondering if any other topics are more interesting or drama-filled or funny than their title

I mostly hang about the geeky, comic book-related threads, man. There's a lot of posters that have their niche.
As far as OTHER non-movie threads? Just click on other threads. Read. And if there's somethign you want to share, hit "post reply" and type something. I don't know what kind of answer you expect from this. We're not going to babysit you and read the posts for you and think "Huh, I bet Chuck would like this one!"
Most assuredly. He completely ignored your pondering of your relationship, your willingness to molest Catholic schoolgirls in ways that make hentai moviemakers barf, and your general planning of genocide of epic proportions.

if there's something particularly drama filled, then you can just scan the front page for a thread with a lot of pages. that means people are bickering about dumb crap that doesn't matter.

Well yeah, but my point was that there are certain threads you'll definitely be found in. Threads about PvP or Kurtz will always contain your little wave at him, just like threads about Nintendo DS games will see JCM contributing, or threads about porn will attract me, or threads about movies will draw Charlie, Kissinger and filmfanatic.
It's hard to think of threads that definitely bring out your evil psycho side. You don't always post in threads about real-life atrocities, for example.
Now that I've cleared that up, please release my penis from the vise, it's starting to hurt a bit...

Yeah well, there are reasons for that..... I used to all the time, over on Halfpixel...
100% honestly? I prefer they take their course than becoming another "Omgshegotheposeremoliarisafakerirl" thread that they seem to become. Also, I actually respect the webmaster of this forum....

The forum is what you put into it. If you just pick a random thread every day and explore it, chances are good that after awhile you'll find many threads amuse you.
But this pathway leads to addiction.
It's not hard to keep up with 50% or more of the stuff here. My general rule is that if the thread is only 1-2 pages, and the title could be interpreted as interesting, I'll just read it. Most threads over 2 pages have 2-3 people who are really invested in the discussion, and it's rarely worth my time to read everything.
On the other hand, it's those 5-20 page long threads that usually have the most drama/funny in them - they typically take 5-8 people to keep them going..
A poll I did on halfpixel ages ago showed that a large portion of people here post to "stir #$@# up" - so you'll fit in just fine.
