I heard most cheeses don't actually have any (or much) lactose in them due to the preparation process and that it is mostly just milk that does it. Don't feel like Googling it though...

I'm a big fan of raclette (both dish and cheese), but I have since developed lactose intolerancy, so I can't eat cheeses in general remotely as often as I used to.

For some reason I can't enjoy goat cheese no matter how I try. It just tastes like goats smell (and I don't mean those fancy shampooed goats, no ma'am). Which is odd, because I love goat meat.

Brie has a similar taste that I can't stand. If my wife ever leaves me, it will probably be because of this shortcoming.
