I meet the author of "The Name of the Wind"

So I read and loved this book several months ago, just randomly i went ot the local book store last night and the author Patrick Rothfuss was there giving a speech/signing event. He was a really funny and interesting person. It was kindof refreshing to hear a author give their own perspective on their books and it made me want to read the book all over again. He discussed his 2nd book and how hard its been to write this one compared the the first book.

Great book. I've seen the author in interviews and he's always seemed like an incredibly nice guy. Glad to hear my assumptions being confirmed.

I read this book a couple of months ago, definitely a great book.

Just wish that the guy would get book 2 out, I hate waiting forever after sequels.

I read this book when it first came out and absolutely loved it.
I never read a fantasy book before and this one hooked me right in from page one.

I agree, book two needs to come out soon. So he can start on book three ASAP.

The dates I've seen for when the next one comes out are January 1. 2011 and August 2011, so hopefully the former is more accurate cause waiting until August of next year is way to long!
