Export thread

Word will not let me put in page numbers.
I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I got to the insert ribbon, pick page number and when i hover over bottom of the page the thing to select is not selectable.

I'm getting pissed off here... any ideas?

Are you going into View Header and Footer first?

Ok my friend just stopped by and I had him look at it apparently there is just something wrong with my copy of word or something. He is going to put the page numbers in for me.

I am mad it isn't working but I am very happy that it wasn't human error hehe. I was starting to feel stupid.

Does the current version of Word still allow you to outright delete menu items? Cuz that might be why you aren't seeing it.
