I'm going to talk about my own goals and then ask you about your own so that I don't seem too self-involved... though I probably won't read yours or wish you luck. I kid.

Really, I've been in a reflective mood, and here are some things I want to do soon.

1. I want to be finished with this story I'm working on. If I took a half hour a night to just get my ideas out, I could finally finish. So, that's one goal: a half hour a day/night of writing at least... cut up into little 10-minute bits or all at once, either way. It'll be hard some days when I'm really swamped, but I need to get back in the routine!

2. I want to travel this summer. I haven't decided where yet, but I want to see 2 places I have never seen before. It doesn't have to be an exotic location... just a change of scenery. So.. saving pennies is another goal.

3. I want to reconnect with my aunts and grandparents. With my new job, I've become even more hermity than usual. Gotta get back into the good old "I'll sleep when I'm dead" attitude and make time for the people I love.

4. I want to fry some chicken soon. I love frying chicken, but I bet I couldn't even do it properly anymore, it's been so long!

There's, it is all in print for people to see! These are all the things I'm going to do very soon... some of these cannot happen until Summer, 2012, but that's ok. None of these goals will go unachieved by that time!

So... has anyone else been setting goals?

1) Convince Cajungal to fly to Minnesota to fry some chicken up for me.
2) Eat said fried chicken while Cajungal plays the ukulele.

Minnesota is a place I haven't seen before! I could take care of two things at once.

You and Chibibar now expect fried chicken from me someday. I'd love to make that happen.

Well, I wrote today. It's crappy, but it's a start. Gettin' my thoughts out at least. Now to do some more.

Well dang, while we're handing out fried chicken dinners and Cajungal meet & greets, put me down for one!

Not a fan of fried chicken but I am always in favor of good drinks and even better company! Now some fried crawfish tails...that sounds like part of a good plan for tonight!

It would be awesome if we had enough people to do some kind of Halcon-type thing.
