It's kind of interesting. It gives an insider/now outsider point of view to the WBC and the family surrounding it. It kind of made me hopeful for the future too, as apparently several members have dropped out and more are at least wavering.

I can't help but feel bad for the the guy, Nate. There just seems to be a lot of sadness in his eyes as he gives these answers and insight into his family.


There is a mistake though, which is pointed out in the comments that Billy Ghrahm is not dead though the reporter said he was.

Wow. It is very informative. It is good that some family member grew a brain and think for themselves.
 
I find it fascinating when children of extremists reject their parents teachings. Another person who does so is Frank Schaefer, who is the son of Francis Schaefer, one of the architects of the Evangelical movement. It's always astounding to see them break out of those shells.

He just put up a really interesting article about the Michigan militia guys at HuffPo.
