ISO question

Right. With Diablo III approaching oh so slowly, I thought I'd replay the original two.
Diablo I, no problemo.

Lord of Destruction....Huh. I still have the original CD key and booklet, but the CD itself is missing.
Now, to be very clear: I HAVE a legal copy of all the discs. I HAVE valid, legal CD keys. I have just misplaced the disc, itself. Is there any place where I can legally download an ISO or something of the LoD disc?

Under the terms of agreement you agree to when you install the CD... you pretty much have to buy your ass a new disk.

I'd check out the bay of pirates anyway cause, y'know, fuck that noise.

Actually, the legality of such EULAs are questionable at best and really only serve to deter people from suing companies. Can YOU name any other contract you sign AFTER purchasing the product it's associated with? The only reason they work right now is because nobody with enough money/legal experience to challenge them has ever tried.

Go pirate it. You've paid for it once, so if there is no legal way to recover your lost data then it's tough tits to whoever.

What Roxx and Tin said. So long as you have the code (and register it), Blizzard will let you redownload the game as many times as you want...and a version that doesn't require the CD in the drive, too.

I have the opposite problem. I have my CD, but I know the key is around here, somewhere on a little paper sleeve.

actually, have you register your LEGAL CD key with battle.net? I notice that at LEAST for WoW and StarCraft, you can download the client.

edit: yay battle.net! with legal cd key you can download the client again (I did that with all WoW after I upgrade my HDD)

First thing I did when the new battle.net launched was add all my keys in there, so that if I'd ever want to play my old Blizzard games again it would be easy to do so. Works great.
