A reality show about a bunch of knucklehead, self proclaimed Guidos. My favorite quote from the article...

\"('Jersey Shore' furthers) the popular TV notion that Italian-Americans are gel-haired, thuggish ignoramuses with fake tans, no manners, no diction, no taste, no education, no sexual discretion, no hairdressers (for sure), no real knowledge of Italian culture and no ambition beyond expanding steroid- and silicone-enhanced bodies,\" blasted New York Post critic Linda Stasi on Monday. \"Would that programing ever have been allowed if the group were African-Americans, Asians, Hispanics, Jewish people?\"
I guess they have not watched much TV in the last 50 years. Especially any thing from Viacom/Mtv/VH1 in the last 5 years.

I absolutley love this show. This, and real world/road rules challege are fucking awesome. So hilarious to watch. We watch them every week at theapartment, drunk as lords. The challenge shows have been a tradition to watch since they started back in the college days.

As for Jersey Shore....watch it. you will never hate people so much in your life. it is great. And the preview at the end of last week, where the annoying c-unt (well,t hey all are) just gets full on decked by a dude at the bar is absolutely amazing.

"...I party and my fist pump with the best of 'em!"

I'm so glad these jackasses (except for one from what I understand) aren't actually from NJ.

I hope it is the episode where Wolf of Odin cleans the floor with a couple of the bastards...

Watching these ridiculous people live such horrible lives is beyond entertaining, to the point of zen.

Saw this on the Today show this morning. A whiny critic on the New York Post was saying they'd never put this on the air if it blatantly stereotyped African-Americans. I thought two things: 1) this show doesn't stereotype anything. It's stupid, but it's just showing guidos in their natural environment. How does that stereotype? I seriously think people ought to be forced to look up that word before using it. 2) I quickly inventoried a list of shows where black stereotypes are regularly used as characters, often with full acknowledgement of their stereotype nature.

Also, they italian american association should be glad that they're not Southerners. I'd rather be thought of as a mobster or a guido than a incestuous borderline retarded person.

That show is so bad it is intoxicating. Hell they all have the same dance.

So it's finally official, people do watch reality shows just so they can feel better about their own miserable existences...

Watched last night's episode. Wow, what a bunch of conniving people. But what little reality TV that I watch, beside claiming Italian American Heritage, they are no different than the other losers that are on the backstabbing reality shows.
