This better be good...

Hmm. Kinda looks like a good Wild Wild West

Looks okay even if it has that Fox chick.

Philosopher B.

Megan Fox shouldn't be allowed in movies. Other than that, it looks retardedly entertaining. BIG GUNS FUCK YEAH.

Frankie Williamson

Doesn't really impress much but then I have absolutely zero knowledge of the character beyond an episode of Batman:TAS and Justice League.

#7

TwoBit

Looks OK, I guess. It's missing something though...

...The Batman.

How exactly does a wild west character show up in Gotham City?

#9

It looks terrible.

Because Jonah Hex spends more time in space than he did in the Wild West.

Had hopes for this, but it looks awful. I want a decent Western dammit.

The gatling guns on the horse thing is really fucking weird.

Dang it, just watched the trailer... there should be Zombies, Ghosts and Vampires... or at least an Alien or two...

shouldn't that be 'how does batman end up in the wild west?'

but its pretty obvious why. its BATMAN after all.

Element 117

Was that.... a mechanical dynamite shooting crossbow?

I don't really have anything invested in this movie as Jonas Hex was one of those comics that I always meant to read, but never got around to it. So, aside from some crossovers, I know little to nothing about the character.

Looks like Wild Wild West with dynamite guns instead of giant spidermechs.

Think I'll pass.

It's closer to Deadlands than Wild Wild West... there is a much more supernatural tone in the Hex series than a Technological one, even if you see tech time to time.

It's like if Wild Wild West fucked Van Helsing and the baby was stillborn

I gotta agree that it does resemble this.

The gatling guns on the horse...just didn't quite work for me (at least in the trailer).

It's been my understanding that Jonas Hex is kind of an old west version of John Constantine.

Occasionally. He HAS tangled with the likes of Raesh (sp?) Al'Ghul from Batman (which makes sense, as he's immortal) and Indian Mysticism does make many appearances in the comics. He also had a series where he was catapulted into the distant future when he was already pretty damn old. However, he generally fights more common foes like outlaws and corrupt individuals than the supernatural. However, some of these more "normal stories" can be just as disturbing as anything supernatural.

Huh. I'm still gonna see it but...huh. The studio seems confident in it at least.

I'm really just saying it looks like a horrible movie, that's the only reason I mentioned Wild Wild West outside of it being a Western theme. I don't know anything about the character or comics.
