...and I'm both squicked out and intrigued.

Mind you, I'm no prude or a frickin' carebear, but the whole concept of the series just gives me heebie-jeebies. A bunch of beautiful women living in a sheltered environment and being sent out in the world programmed to be something that other people want them to be. It doesn't help that the people in charge seem to consist of one good guy and three evil people: an ex-cop whose morals I can tell will cause trouble, a self-righteous little prick of a nerd doing the programming, an amoral suit ready to cut the losses at the drop of a hat... and an ice queen frostier than the last ice age's coldest day.

Yet, I can't help but wonder what episode 2 will be like.

It's definitely a show that steps more in the moral grey area. The characters are likeable and possibly relateable, but they have such great faults and make a lot of pretty dark mistakes.

I have a feeling you'll love it, if you liked it this much so far. Believe me, the first episode ain't NOTHING!

The first season starts off kind of meh, but it really picks up after the first 6 episodes or so. Stick with it, you'll be glad you did.

The dude that plays topher would make a great Peter Parker, if they werent resetting it back to high school.

Yeah, you definitely need to keep watching to at least 6 or 7. Things start to change quite a bit. It gets into more of a series story arc, rather than just one off episodes that could be watched in a vacuum.

It is pretty interesting. If you think more about it, what about those people with "hire escort" or even "roleplay" this just takes a step further to create these people for you (pre andriod hehe) and you get what you want, for a short time and for a VERY high price.

Wait until you see Topher and "his buddy" episode. It is AWESOME.
