I'd posit that it's one or more of the following:
-Everyone else is caught up in other AmA's
-Due to forum browsing habits, this thread went unnoticed for other people.
-Of the people who saw this, you were the only one to recognize the potential of this thread/how cool I am.[DOUBLEPOST=1357922912][/DOUBLEPOST]To answer your second question specifically:

Don't ask this, he's all like 'pan con tomato' and then you go back to your hostel and rub tomato on your baguette and you're like "This isn't tasty... this is... I mean, it's fine I guess." (I kid, tegid!)

Am I the greatest Canadian you've ever met?

Everyone is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the end of the Battle of Fort Hindman.

Do you have any prized awards or trophies, and if so what is your most prized and what did you do to win it?

Tapas, definitely. Tapas are a series of small dishes which you usually order to share with other people at bars or some restaurants.
I love some of the specific tapas, I love the aspect of going out and sharing them with friends, and I love thay they allow me to taste so many different flavors in a single meal.

A close second would be good Spanish and Catalan 'embutidos', a variety of cured sausages (and ham). In particular I like a good Jamón, Chorizo, Fuet or Sobrasada (and a good cheese, it kinda goes together) with some Pa amb tomaquet, which is bread with tomato rubbed on it and olive oil.[DOUBLEPOST=1357924211][/DOUBLEPOST]

Haha! Awesomely ninja'd!!

Yes you are! (Although a pretty awesome Iranian-Canadian I met this summer is up there with you. But he's only half Canadian I guess).[DOUBLEPOST=1357924734][/DOUBLEPOST]

I don't think I do, no. I've never been very competitive. My most prized achievements growing up were related to intelligence, like grades, distinctions and such, and for a while I was quite sore of not entering the Mathematics and Physics Olympics when I was 17-18 (you can only enter at those ages) because I felt I could have won or at least gotten a good position there and that's an award I would have prized so much. I was very proud of my distinction when I finished high school (is that how you call it? I was one of the 2 top students in my year, got a free semester at uni), but now things like scientific publications and such, which aren't really awards, are more important to me.

That's easy! Add a superhero costume. Or a skull used absurdly. Possibly both.
If you want to add the extra touch of originality, change the skull for some other object![DOUBLEPOST=1357926598][/DOUBLEPOST]Alternatively, I think adding a cute giraffe could be a very nice touch. I'd find it cool. Yourself dressed as a giraffe would do too.

The U.S. news has made Spain (and Greece for that matter) look like they are on the verge of total anarchy. How bad is it really? I have the feeling that it's a bunch of sensationalist b.s.

Also, do you cook? If so, what's your favorite dish to cook?

You're given 6 completely untraceable bullets. You're literally safe from any consequences on using them as long as someone doesn't actually see you do it.

What do you use them for?

Hey hey, so many questions!

The U.S. news has made Spain (and Greece for that matter) look like they are on the verge of total anarchy. How bad is it really? I have the feeling that it's a bunch of sensationalist b.s.

Also, do you cook? If so, what's your favorite dish to cook?
I almost wish we were on the verge of total anarchy, it's what would be natural for the situation (we went over 20% unemployment on 2010, we are at about 25% now) but people just eat the bullshit they are fed, accept awful political decisions as necessary, and make do how they can. The small amount of unrest there was already is only starting to grow now due to the conservative government, but very slowly.
So no, I don't think that image is true.

Funnily enough, we are told that same story about Greece (it seems to be a bit truer in their case, if only because their crisis started earlier and was deeper from the beginning).[DOUBLEPOST=1358009440][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh, I like to cook but only cook elaborate things on special occasions. For everyday food there's a dish I love that has chickpeas, chorizo (spicy pork sausage), and some breadcrumbs and oil (which make a nice paste with the chickpeas). Oh god, I'm SO not making it justice :([DOUBLEPOST=1358009631][/DOUBLEPOST]
So how has this winter been for you? Mild or chilly or somewhere in between?
Mild for my standards, although the last few days have been pretty cold. Right now it is 17:50, the Sun's setting and the T is a nice 14 C[DOUBLEPOST=1358010131][/DOUBLEPOST]
What two forummites do you 'ship'?
There's no beating Calleja's response, I'll have to think about it.[DOUBLEPOST=1358010317][/DOUBLEPOST]
Since I was inappropriately surprised last time I asked this, and I don't learn from my mistakes: what's the weirdest fetish you'll admit to?
Well, when I read hentai there were some weird fetishes that I had: disagreeable/unpleasant hot women, incest, and things like that, but they don't carry over to anywhere else, be it reality, porn or imagination.
Besides there, I guess I have some sort of fetish over being seduced and cheating :/[DOUBLEPOST=1358010586][/DOUBLEPOST]
I got another one, this time in 'merican.

You're given 6 completely untraceable bullets. You're literally safe from any consequences on using them as long as someone doesn't actually see you do it.

What do you use them for?
I think I'd use them for a very convoluted plan that furthered my political ideas in my country or maybe that was useful to get a common government for all of Europe that had actual democratic functions (Right now there's a democracy at the European scale, but the actual power isn't there but in individual governments such as Germany or France).

I don't think I'd kill anyone just because I thought they deserved it or anything (or that's what I want to believe).[DOUBLEPOST=1358010689][/DOUBLEPOST]
How Is Silver Jelly? Does he hates us????
I wrote something related to that in my sig yesterday!

He's fine, he doesn't really have time for the forums. If he came back his work would resent too much I think. But he's fine, he moved in with me about 4 months ago.

He'll come back eventually, I'm sure!
