You may have noticed that there's now a tab above that we will be using for book reviews. Here's how it works. Someone enters the book information from Amazon - basically just copying the information from their page to here - and then others who have read the book can post reviews.
I have my friend Mark's book as an example of how it looks.
So if you have a book you want others to read and review, post that shit!
Coming soon I hope will be a more generalized review, like DVDs, games and other stuff. Right now it only does books.

When someone reviews a book you have posted will you be alerted?

I do not know.

Just reviewed the Calvin and Hobbes. Let me know if you got an Alert.

I did not. Sort of puts a damper on putting up books you are thinking about reading and want the expert advice of Halforumites on before hand.
edit
I really like this idea otherwise and the functionality of it is very simple.

Somebody put up Dragonbone Chair. I read that a while ago. Too long to give a review. The one thing I remember was that the cover artists have no idea what "15 years old" means. Simon has like a full mountain man beard on the second book. The cover on the review page looks better than the old one I think.

That was me. As far as book covers go, I think the artist did a pretty good job. Consider also that Simon is described as being very tall. I will say I'd probably guess late teens/twenties.
In the cover for the second book, Simon is shown just having his whiskers coming in. However, this was for the paperback; maybe the hardcover had a different illustration? He doesn't get the full beard treatment until the third book cover, as far as I'm aware.

Gods what a great series! A bit slow at times but overall a very well done three books!
OI Spaceman! How about a stickied thread for people to post when they add a book or review a book that also contains a list of the books already added?

You make it and I'll stick it.
(God that sounds like there's a mom joke in there somewhere!)
